Senate Health Care Bill Now Available

Thank you for visiting my website to share your thoughts about health care reform and the current debate taking place in Congress. Your participation in this conversation is important to me as we move forward in the legislative process.

Over the past several months, my staff and I have met with Virginians, health care experts and community leaders from across the ideological spectrum. In addition, my office has received and responded to more than 100,000 e-mails, letters and phone calls from Virginians on the health care debate.

Last month, I called on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to post the text and complete budget scores of the health care bill on a public website for Congress and the American people to review at least 72 hours prior to both the first vote and final passage. 

I am pleased that the bill is now available for the American public to review.
